JOELLA MILLER, Toronto Commercial Litigation Lawyer
Joella utilizes her business knowledge to help clients with a wide range of commercial litigation issues. Joella received her Juris Doctor with a law and technology certificate from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.
While attending law school, Joella examined climate change law as a research assistant and editor for the Associate Dean of Research. Joella co-authored a book chapter with Dalhousie’s Vice President of Research and Innovation on how best to align the university’s research strategy with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Recently, Joella co-authored a paper entitled “Certificates of Pending Litigation: Protecting a Litigant’s Interest in Real Property”.
Joella was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2022. Prior to working as an associate for Milosevic & Associates, Joella completed her articles with the firm.
