TOMISLAV MILOŠ, Toronto Litigation Lawyer
Tomislav received his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. Prior to attending law school, Tomislav obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in English & Cultural Studies at McMaster University.
Tomislav is building a broad commercial and civil litigation practice and has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Small Claims Court.
Tomislav was called to the Ontario bar in 2023. Prior to joining Milosevic & Associates as an associate, Tomislav worked as a summer student at Wealthsimple, articled at a commercial litigation firm where he assisted on a fraud trial, and gained further civil litigation experience at a Toronto boutique.
While attending law school, Tomislav was an editor at Obiter Dicta, the oldest law school newspaper in North America, ultimately serving as editor-in-chief. Tomislav also served as an associate and senior editor on the Osgoode Hall Law Journal, editing scholarly submissions, assisting on a special issue throughout his 1L summer, and organizing its annual research symposium in 3L. Tomislav made a foray into student politics as an elected 2L Student Caucus representative sitting on Osgoode’s Faculty Council and several adjacent committees. Tomislav also edited Professor Allan Hutchinson’s Democracy & Constitutions prior to its publication in 2021 and served as a research assistant to Professor David Lepofsky on a large-scale accessibility project.
Tomislav is an appointed member to the Young Advocates Standing Committee (YASC) of The Advocates’ Society as one of 40 lawyers under 10 years of call across Canada. In his capacity as a YASC member, Tomislav serves as chair of the Fireside Chat working group and an editor on Keeping Tabs, a quarterly publication distributed to nearly 10,000 subscribers.
Tomislav is a member of the Canadian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce and a proud first-generation post-secondary student and lawyer.
In his spare time, Tomislav is a sub 3-hour marathoner in dogged pursuit of his white whale: Boston Marathon qualification. Elsewhere, he enjoys playing tennis, attending TIFF screenings, fleshing out his burgeoning blueberry Le Creuset collection, and rapturously supporting the only team in London with a European cup, Chelsea FC.
